This, that and Andy

Lomo Saltado. The new favorite dish of mine and the re-new favorite dish of CG's

A changing of the block and tackle. I cant even imagine how many cartwheels these little chiadees have done... a couple er so

Not an uncommon occurance

Bubba

Sometimes you roll into a village and are handed a handfull of potatoes for no good reason, other than to just be nice

If your gonna be a donkey in Peru? ya gotta learn to share

Box Dogs

I met Andy first in Tumbaco Equador. Then just the other day we bumped into him in Huancavelica, peru. Then we lost him somewhere on the road. This is where we refound him again

And this is the note we recieved letting us know he was off again

Boys... dont push its only a bicycle with fat tires.

Camp company

We seem to have lost some elevation. I'm sure its around here somewhere

It looks like cake...mmm Cake

I saw this commercial on late night TV, it was for this thing you attach to a garden hose, it was like “You can water your hard-to-reach plants with this product.” Who the hell would make their plants hard to reach? That seems so very mean. “I know you need water, but I’m gonna make you hard to reach! I will throw water at you. Hopefully they will invent a product before you shrivel and die! Think like a cactus!”- Mitch Hedberg

Here are a few more of me riding. Gotta get in this blog where I can. Photos by Cass Gilbert

P.S. We met up with Andy two more times actually. In a small village we helped get his bike on the roof of a bus. Then later in Ayacucho where we rebuilt his wheel (ate cake). Cass and I are about to take the back route to Abancay, then onto Cusco. Maybe we'll bump into Andy again... Stranger things have happened. Safe travels Andy.
