Holes in the ground


So they happen to be old holes. Dug sometime in the 7th and 9th century 




Tombs is more like it. The bones of Families were crushed up and placed in clay pots or directly in the holes in the floor of these tombs.




Many of these are scattered about the hill sides around the town of San Andreas de Pisimbala in an area know as Tierradentro.
